Abstract sculpture ‘Being Born’ by Virginio Ferrari, 1982. Ferrari was born in Verona Italy but moved to the Usa where he is based in Chicago since the middle of the 1960’s. Ferrari mainly made monumental sculptures in bronze, steel, iron marble and granite. His sculpture have been installed in many US cities, Chicago contains more then thirty of his public sculptures.
This particular sculpture is a small (scale) model, the large sculpture stands in Chicago. The sculpture is made from forced Stainless steel and stand on a Carrara Marble base. Marked at the sculpture and the base: V. Ferrari, 1982.
